1. Text Files The majority of the texts on this website are in
.pdf format (Acrobat Reader files).
- In order to read them, you need to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.

- There are two ways to open a .pdf file:
- Click on the link with the right button on your mouse, choose “Save Target as,” and select the folder on your hard disk in which you want to store the file. Once the file is saved, open it as usual (double-click the left button on your mouse).
- If you click on the link with the left button on your mouse, Acrobat Reader will open automatically and the text will gradually be transferred there. This second method sometimes presents problems, if the file happens to be a large one.
2. Audio FilesThe audio files on this website are in
.wma format (Windows Media Audio).
- In order to hear them, you need to have Windows Media Player (or another program which can play .wma files) installed on your computer.

- There are two ways to open a .wma file:
- If you click on the link with the left button on your mouse, Windows Media Player will open automatically and after a while (depending on the speed of your Internet connection), the file will begin to play.

- Click on the link with the right button on your mouse, choose “Save Target as,” and select the folder on your hard disk in which you want to store the file. Once the file is saved, open it as usual (double-click the left button on your mouse).
N.B. The audio files on this Website are presented in two qualities:
- Low Quality (32 Kbs; by default, unless otherwise specified), which can be heard, without delays, even with a slow Internet Connection (PSTN).
- CD Quality (64 Kbs), which require, to be heard without significant delay, a broadband connection (or at least an ISDN 128Kbs connection).
3. Video FilesThe video files on this website are in
.wmv format (Windows Media Video). To view or download them, consult the section on audio files above.
N.B. The video files on this Website are presented in two qualities:
- Low Quality (by default, unless otherwise specified), which can be viewed, without delays, even with a slow Broadband Connection (at least DSL 384).
- High Quality, which require, to be viewed without significant delay, a quick broadband connection (cable or at least DSL 768 Kbs).
All the video files require version 9 or higher of
Windows Media Player.
